UKREXPORT LTD represents producers of Foundry (Casting) Iron in Ukraine, CIS and across Mediterranean and Oriental regions. Foundry Iron differs from conventional Pig Iron by application purposes. Whereas Basic Pig Iron (BPI) is virtually semi-finished Steel, Foundry Pig Iron (FPI) is only furnace charge material often comprising of different casting irons for the purpose of attaining highly fluid, fillable and soft FeSi alloy perfect for casting into complicated moulds. Fewer factories produce FPI compared with BPI, especially when extra low Sulphur and Phosphorous are required. Placement of factory order takes longer coordination with factory schedule and full 100% prepayment applies to produce this casting material graded under GOST 4832-95 / DSTU 3132-95:

Optimally, minimal order quantity is 3,000mt despite 1,000mt being minimal capacity of a single blast furnace where primary Iron Ore, Coke & Catalysts for requested Foundry Iron grade are to be smelted.
